Notre Dame School News...Open registration for families new to Notre Dame School continues. You may call to make arrangements to tour the grade school and Early Learning Center, or set up a date for a child to shadow.

OUR SORROWFUL MOTHER CIRCLE will be selling their hand made rosaries after all the Masses this weekend, April 24th & 25th, in the Parish Hall.

BIBLE STUDY: Join us to study John's Gospel at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall on Thursday evenings on April 22nd, 29th and May 6th. Angeline Hubert, formerly an instructor at Denver's Catholic Biblical School, will introduce participants to the scholarship and spirituality of this gospel. Attention Golfers! Holy Name Society and Notre Dame School Athletic Department will be hosting their Annual Golf Tournament on June 19th at the Indian Tree Golf Course. More details will follow.

Notre Dame School Spring Concert performed by students in the first, second, and fifth grades is at 6:00pm on Thursday, April 29th in the Family Center. Please come by and enjoy the music presented by these students.

Parents/Grandparents: Please pick up a copy of At Home With Our Faith at the entrances of the Church. This handout provides material for discussion with your children and grandchildren. It�s easy to read and will encourage conversation between you and the young persons in your life.

The next Baptism Preparation class is May 6, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall. Baptisms are scheduled by appointment for the first and third Sunday of the month. For more information, contact Deacon Kevin Leiner at 303-922-9875.

Adult Faith Formation: For most Catholics their formal religious education ends with Confirmation classes. If you would like to explore opportunities as experience of Catholicism, please contact Gerry Nowicki at the Religious Education Office at 303-922-9875.

If you plan to volunteer at school any time during the school year, you must have taken the Safe Environment Training class and completed a Volunteer form, which is available in the school office.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN IN PUBLIC SCHOOL - We accept children from 3 years old (by 9/15) up through the 8th grade. Information on the Sacramental Preparation program will also be available. Please call Sonja with any questions at 303-922-9875.

You are invited to join the Southwest Serra Club, fostering and promoting vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life. Breakfast meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month at 7:30am. Contact Tom at 303-798-8108 for further information.

MASS STIPENDS: For years the offering for a Mass has been five dollars. The Archbishop has decided that now it should be increased to ten ($10)dollars. You must come to the Rectory during office hours to set up to have a Mass said.

CAREGIVERS - Many people are taking care of chronically ill parents, spouses or other family members. This can be a positive experience and also a very difficult. Catholic Charities will be providing an ongoing monthly support group to assist and support those who are caregivers. For information, contact Kerry at 303-742-0828, ext. 496.

The community of Notre Dame would like to acknowledge and pray for all those who are presently serving in our armed forces around the world. All are welcome to join us for Morning Prayer in the Parish Hall every Saturday morning at 7:30 am for about 15 minutes.

Do you or someone you know struggle with a same-sex attraction? Support is available to live the Church's teachings with Courage. Courage is a spiritual support group for men and women with same-sex attractions who desire to lead a chaste life in accord with authentic Catholic Church Teaching. The group gathers with a priest once a week for an hour and a half. Confidentiality and anonymity are assured. For more information, please call 720-951-1386.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION - Archdiocesan legislation now requires that all couples preparing for marriage need to begin their preparation for the sacrament at least 8 to 12 months in advance of the wedding.

Are you aware there is a Catholic television station in Denver? It is a 24 hour TV station and you can get it on Channels 23 and 38. The rosary is said 3 or 4 times a day. For homebound parishioners, this is a great way to spend time and also learn more about our Catholic faith.
